Welcome to Daisy & Dust.
We want you to shop with confidence. This Returns & Refund Policy explains your rights and our obligations regarding products purchased through our website.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights afforded to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA"), the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 ("ECTA"), or any other applicable South African legislation.
1. Returns Eligibility
You may request a return if:
- you received an incorrect product;
- your product arrived damaged;
- your product is defective as defined by the Consumer Protection Act; or
- you are otherwise entitled to a return under applicable South African law.
All return requests must be submitted to Daisy & Dust before returning any product.
2. Change of Mind
Daisy & Dust does not accept returns for:
- change of mind;
- incorrect product selection;
- ordering the wrong item;
- no longer wanting the product;
- finding the product elsewhere at a lower price.
Any return accepted outside of your statutory rights is entirely at Daisy & Dust's discretion.
3. Hygiene Products
The Daisy & Dust Labour Comb is a personal-use product.
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns where the product:
- has been used;
- has been opened where hygiene has been compromised;
- has been damaged after delivery;
- is not in its original condition.
This restriction does not affect your rights where the product is defective under the Consumer Protection Act.
4. Defective Products
Under Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act, consumers receive an implied six-month warranty of quality.
If your Labour Comb is defective within six months of delivery, Daisy & Dust will, where required by law:
- repair the product;
- replace the product; or
- refund the purchase price.
This warranty does not apply where the defect resulted from:
- misuse;
- accidental damage;
- improper storage;
- modification of the product;
- use contrary to supplied instructions;
- normal wear and tear.
5. Incorrect or Damaged Orders
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
If your order is incorrect or damaged:
- notify Daisy & Dust within 48 hours of receiving the parcel;
- provide your order number;
- include clear photographs of the product and packaging.
Where the error is ours, Daisy & Dust will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with the CPA.
6. Cooling-Off Rights
Where applicable, consumers may exercise any cooling-off rights available under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
Where a valid cooling-off right applies:
- the product must be returned unused;
- the product must be returned in its original packaging;
- return shipping costs may be payable by the customer where permitted by law.
7. Return Conditions
To qualify for a return (where applicable), the product must:
- include proof of purchase;
- be returned with all original packaging;
- include all accessories supplied;
- not be intentionally damaged;
- not show signs of misuse.
Daisy & Dust reserves the right to inspect all returned products before approving a refund or replacement.
8. Return Shipping Costs
Unless otherwise required by South African law:
- customers are responsible for return courier costs;
- Daisy & Dust will pay return shipping costs where the return results from:
- an incorrect item supplied;
- a defective product;
- an error on our part.
9. Refunds
Refunds will only be processed after:
- the returned product has been received;
- the product has been inspected;
- the return has been approved.
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Delivery charges are non-refundable unless required by law or where Daisy & Dust supplied the incorrect or defective product.
10. Products Not Eligible for Return
Unless required by the Consumer Protection Act, Daisy & Dust will not accept returns of products that:
- have been used;
- have been intentionally damaged;
- have been modified;
- were damaged through misuse;
- were used contrary to supplied instructions;
- are returned without proof of purchase.
11. Fraudulent Returns
Daisy & Dust reserves the right to refuse any return or refund request where there is reasonable evidence of:
- fraudulent conduct;
- abuse of the returns process;
- false claims;
- intentional product damage.
Nothing in this clause limits any rights provided under applicable law.
12. Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Daisy & Dust shall not be responsible for delays in processing returns caused by:
- courier services;
- payment providers;
- incomplete customer information;
- events beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in this policy excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

Please contact Daisy & Dust before returning any product.
Include:
- Your full name
- Order number
- Contact details
- Description of the issue
- Clear photographs (if applicable)
Returns sent without prior authorisation may be refused.
